Kourtney is a skilled bodyworker on both horses and humans. She is the owner of Rooted Equine Bodywork and has dedicated her equine practice to using the Masterson Method®. She chose the Masterson Method for its gentle, hands on techniques that work with the horse to release tension while creating trust and a positive experience for the horse.
With more than a decade of experience working on humans as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a Registered Massage Therapist, she decided to branch out to working with horses. This was a natural choice for her since growing up with horses, and always having an empathetic personality to help those who need it. Her passion lies in helping horses and riders achieve peak physical comfort while fostering a collaborative environment with her clients.

I am an MMCP, Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, and am taking on new clients. I was introduced to the Masterson method when my Mom was having some problems with her horse, and I fell in love with the work right away. Horses have the ability to work with you and release tension in their body. The goal of my treatments is to improve performance in a healthy horse.
